Most premium bedding brands charge what they charge because they can. The marketing is beautiful, the packaging is considered, and the price tag implies something rarefied. What it rarely implies is what the product is actually made of.
We started Slumber & Soak because we were tired of that. Tired of brands that buried their materials in fine print, inflated their prices with middlemen, and dressed up ordinary products in expensive aesthetics. We wanted to know exactly what we were sleeping on, and we figured other people did too.
So we built something straightforward. Egyptian cotton up to 300 thread count, OEKO-TEX certified, sold direct. No department store markup. No ambiguity about what’s inside. The same quality that ends up in hotel rooms, available without the hotel price.
We’re new. We don’t have decades of heritage to point to. What we have is a clear standard, a commitment to honest specs, and a belief that the product should do the talking.

Real specs, always
Every product page lists exact materials, thread counts, fill types, and certifications. If we can't tell you what's in it, we don't sell it. Vague claims like "premium quality" don't belong in a product description, numbers do.
Honest pricing
We sell direct so you pay for the product, not the supply chain around it. The same thread count retails for three times more in department stores. We think that markup is unjustifiable when the fabric is identical, so we cut it out.
Built to last
Percale improves with washing. Our fill materials are chosen for durability, not just softness on first touch. We're not interested in selling you the same pillow twice in a year, we'd rather you come back in three years for a second set because the first one held up.
